StockViz Mutual Funds Plugin and MCP Service

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This section applies to the StockViz Mutual Funds plugin and the Model Context Protocol (“MCP”) service at https://mutual-fund-mcp.stockviz.workers.dev/mcp, operated by SAS Data Analytics Pvt. Ltd. under the StockViz name.

What the service does

The service provides access to published mutual fund strategies, model portfolios, backtest information, performance metrics, factor-index analysis, and dataset quality information. It processes requests from compatible AI applications, including ChatGPT and Codex, and returns research information.

Information processed

When your AI application calls a StockViz tool, the MCP service receives the arguments needed to answer that request. These may include strategy identifiers, backtest identifiers, index names, date ranges, and other supported research parameters.

The service receives the information sent in the tool request. Connecting the plugin does not, by itself, give StockViz access to your entire conversation history.

The MCP research tools do not require you to submit personal investment holdings, bank details, payment-card information, broker credentials, or other sensitive financial information. Please do not include such information in requests.

Authentication

Access to the service requires authentication. The authentication flow processes information necessary to verify your identity and authorize access, including authorization credentials or tokens.

Complete sign-in through the designated authentication page. Do not paste passwords, access tokens, or other credentials into your AI conversation.

Use and storage of research requests

The MCP application processes research requests to retrieve information, perform the requested calculations, and return results to your AI application.

The MCP application does not persist research requests or generated responses, and does not create a stored history of your research activity.

This statement concerns the MCP application. It does not describe the separate storage practices of your AI application, authentication provider, or hosting infrastructure.

AI applications and service providers

Your AI application receives the tool results and may use them to generate a response. Its handling of conversations, tool requests, and results is governed by its own privacy policy and your account settings.

The MCP endpoint is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Hosting and authentication services may process technical information necessary to deliver requests, authenticate access, maintain security, and operate their services. Their processing and any retention are subject to the applicable provider policies and service configuration.

The MCP application’s lack of stored research history does not mean that no information is processed or retained elsewhere in the connection.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time and disconnect the plugin through the settings of your AI application. Disconnecting the plugin does not automatically delete conversations or records held by that application or another provider.

For questions about StockViz’s handling of your information, or to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information held by StockViz in connection with the service, contact info@stockviz.biz. We will address requests in accordance with applicable law. Where the MCP application has not retained the requested information, there may be no application record to retrieve or delete.

Requests concerning information held by your AI application or another independent provider should also be directed to that provider.

Changes to this section

We may update this section when the service or its data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
