Murphy\u2019s Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Triple Tops and Bottoms<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/image13.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px;margin: 0px 20px 0px 0px;padding-left: 0px;padding-right: 0px;float: left;border-top-width: 0px;border-bottom-width: 0px;border-left-width: 0px;padding-top: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" align=\"left\" src=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/image_thumb13.png\" width=\"216\" height=\"134\"><\/a>Triple Tops, as the name indicates, are identified as three peaks at the same level. Volume decreases with each successive peak at the top and should increase at the breakdown point.<\/p>\n<p>Return moves to the lower lines are not uncommon.<\/p>\n<h3>Double Tops and Bottoms<a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/image14.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px;margin: 2px 0px 5px 10px;padding-left: 0px;padding-right: 0px;float: right;border-top-width: 0px;border-bottom-width: 0px;border-left-width: 0px;padding-top: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" align=\"right\" src=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/image_thumb14.png\" width=\"208\" height=\"135\"><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>This pattern has two peaks (A&amp;C) at about the same levels. The pattern is complete once the middle trough (B) is broken on a <em>closing<\/em> basis. Volume is lighter on the 2nd peak (C) and increases on the breakdown (D).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Saucers and Spikes<\/h3>\n<p>The saucer pattern shows a gradual turn from down to sideways to up and take a long time to form.
