Even though the stock experienced a strong uptrend around June, it is still trading at roughly the same price as it was a year ago.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/image28.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px;padding-left: 0px;padding-right: 0px;border-top-width: 0px;border-bottom-width: 0px;border-left-width: 0px;padding-top: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/image_thumb24.png\" width=\"602\" height=\"482\"><\/a>  <\/p>\n<p>Oscillators <a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/index.php\/part-ix-relative-strength-index-rsi\/\">RSI<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/index.php\/technical-trading\/chande-momentum-oscillator\/\">CMO<\/a> are at currently at 40 and -39. At this level of RSI, the stock is at oversold levels (according to the historical RSI levels). The CMO is closing in towards the oversold side. Both the technicals are showing a <strong>buy signal<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/index.php\/part-xi-moving-average-convergence-divergence-macd2\/\">MACD<\/a> line and signal line are drifting apart from each other and <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Histogram\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Histogram\" rel=\"wikipedia\">histogram<\/a> levels are fairly stagnant. The behavior of histogram (a decreasing slope) can act as an early signal of the imminent short-term up-trend.  <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/index.php\/technical-trading\/guppy-multiple-moving-averages\/\">GMMA<\/a> chart is just too messy. The long-term lines are moving close to each other (signaling a probable change of previous trend) and the decreasing separation in the short term lines suggest that the traders should be on a lookout for a spike in volatility in the near-term.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/image29.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px;padding-left: 0px;padding-right: 0px;border-top-width: 0px;border-bottom-width: 0px;border-left-width: 0px;padding-top: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/image_thumb25.png\" width=\"626\" height=\"210\"><\/a>  <\/p>\n<p>DLF\u2019s average <a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/index.php\/tag\/correlation\/\">correlation<\/a> of 0.71 with the Niftybees proves to be a strong and positive correlation. At this level the movements of the stock will be of the similar magnitude as Niftybees. [stockquote]NIFTYBEES[\/stockquote]  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/image30.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px;margin: 10px;padding-left: 0px;padding-right: 0px;border-top-width: 0px;border-bottom-width: 0px;border-left-width: 0px;padding-top: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/image_thumb26.png\" width=\"626\" height=\"210\"><\/a>  <\/p>\n<p>DLF has a historical <a href=\"http:\/\/stockviz.biz\/index.php\/2012\/07\/17\/understanding-volatility-part-i\/\">volatility<\/a> in the range of 0.4 to 0.9. The volatility is currently in the middle range and currently should not be a matter of concern to the traders.  <\/p>\n<p>Looking at these technicals, it appears that the stock is presently nearing oversold territory. A <b>short term buy<\/b> would be a good idea but for the long term you might want to be <strong>on your back foot<\/strong>.
